Craven Area Networking Lunch

If you’re looking to do a few new things in 2023 perhaps getting together with a convivial group of professional and entrepreneurial women all living or working around the Yorkshire Dales may be one of them?

Following on from the full house at the Craven launch of DBW in Skipton late last year, this next session will be held at Langcliffe Quarry Enterprise Centre.

We are pleased to let you know that Craven District Council are kindly providing the venue for this event without charge.
The Barn; a traditional stone building that has been refurbished to provide a range of flexible office space with access to ultrafast broadband.  The Enterprise Centre is located 1.5 miles (2.5km) north of Settle on the B6479 to Horton-in-Ribblesdale/Hawes. This should make it easily accessible to women who are running businesses in and around the area.

The pandemic brought us all into Zoom and Teams, so many have been missing personal contact with like-minded people.
A few networking groups have begun to spring up, some involving very early starts and the introduction of ‘referrals.  Dales Business Women is just not like this and has been designed simply to provide women with a chance to broaden their professional network whilst learning of new ways of working or new opportunities and contacts.

There will be a light lunch provided and we will start the meeting with some relaxed 'get to know you' activities.

Our guest speaker will be Andy Barton, CEO for the Skipton and Ripon Enterprise Group (SREG)

With over twenty years experience in corporate strategic development, Andy helps business owners and their executives realise and manage the business’s growth potential. A qualified Business Coach, and Warwick MBA, Andy has a pragmatic approach to business development, drawing on his marketing and analytical skills to develop truly customer lead solutions.

He will discuss the difference mentoring can make to the success of an enterprise.
A business who has been mentored through SREG will share their experience and how it helped them overcome the challenges faced by most businesses.

Details - Tuesday 31st January 2023, Langcliffe Quarry Enterprise Centre.
